Palma de Mallorca is the island's capital. Right at the centre, you'll find the stunning Palma Cathedral, or La Seu, a Gothic marvel that towers over everything. Just a short distance away, the circular Bellver Castle offers incredible panoramic views of the city and the bay.

As you wander through the Old Town, you'll navigate narrow, winding streets that lead to sunny plazas. The waterfront promenade is always bustling, from joggers in the morning to couples enjoying the sunset, all against the scenic backdrop of luxury yachts in the marina.

It’s a great place for families to explore at their own pace.

Just a short distance away, Alcúdia Beach offers miles of shallow, crystal-clear waters that are perfect for young swimmers.The beach area is well-equipped with facilities and lifeguards. Another great place to go is Hidropark, a popular water park with slides and pools for all ages.

For a bit of nature, take a short drive to the Albufera Nature Reserve, where you can enjoy bird watching and gentle hiking. Families can also hop on a glass-bottom boat tour to explore the marine life in the bay.

Magaluf is known as Mallorca’s nightlife hub. The Punta Ballena strip is where all the action happens, with neon lights flashing as you hop between lively bars. You’ll find everything from rowdy British pubs to chic cocktail lounges along this busy street.

BCM Planet Dance is the heart of the nightlife scene here. It’s one of Europe’s largest nightclubs, with multiple levels, top-notch sound systems, and amazing light shows. The foam parties and themed nights at BCM are pretty legendary.

If you’re looking for something different, Magaluf has you covered. You can chill at beachfront bars with cocktails and sea views, or check out live music venues for a mix of local and international acts. There are also plenty of hotel bars and lounges if you’re in the mood for a more upscale experience.

As you stroll through the village, you’ll come across local artists' studios, quaint cafes, and panoramic viewpoints that showcase the dramatic landscape where mountains meet the sea.

The ambience in Deià is serene and timeless. Narrow streets wind between honey-coloured stone houses adorned with vibrant bougainvillaea. The Robert Graves House, the former home of the renowned British poet, offers a glimpse into the area’s artistic heritage. For a secluded spot to swim and sunbathe, head to Cala Deià, a small shingle beach surrounded by cliffs.

Son Marroig, a historic mansion, boasts breathtaking views of the coastline and hosts classical music concerts during the summer. It's a great place for a hike along ancient paths connecting Deià to neighbouring villages like Valldemossa or Sóller, passing through olive groves and citrus orchards.

As you wander through the village, you'll find cobblestone streets winding between honey-coloured stone houses. Valldemossa has a timeless charm and tranquillity, interrupted only by the chiming of church bells and the gentle rustling of wind through the surrounding oak and olive groves.

Check out the Costa Nord cultural centre, founded by actor Michael Douglas, to learn about the area's rich heritage. The Miramar Monastery, once home to philosopher Ramon Llull, offers a glimpse into mediaeval Mallorca and boasts stunning sea views.
