Travel booking site Hoppa have just released a list of the most expensive cities to visit in Europe. Looking at the cost of hotels, food, drink, transport and entertainment, they've analysed the affordability of 48 European cities.

Unsurprisingly Scandinavian countries top the list, with average hotel nights in the Danish capital clocking in at around €200 by their calculations. In Reykjavík Hoppa believe costs are more likely to pile up in the bar, thanks to the priciest cocktails and wines among all the cities studied, while in London transport and entertainment costs soar above those on the continent.
